Senergy Signs Second Wellshare Contract

Aberdeen-based oil and gas consultancy, Senergy Limited, is adding a second Wellshare project to its portfolio by signing a contract with Dolphin Drilling for a five well programme for a number of oil company clients. The deal, to lease the semi-submersible drilling rig, Byford Dolphin, for work in the UK North Sea next year, is likely to be worth in the region of $80 million to Senergy.

Senergy has reached an agreement with Chevron North Sea UK Limited whereby Chevron will farm out the Stena Spey Semi-submersible Drilling Rig, which it currently has on contract from Stena Spey Drilling Limited, to Senergy.
