As well as working quickly & accurately, ODM3 is also an advanced presentation tool to demonstrate concepts and to display results with the same efficiency. The results aren’t just typical screen shots; they’re live displays that update as the interpretation changes. Screen shots are also available but with several options.
Create Live Graphics with the Montage Tool
Montages can be built up of various components such as chart correlations, deviated well path projections, maps, graphics and text. When a well is re-correlated or new data is added, all displays (including maps) are automatically updated.
Montages are easy to create simply by arranging and positioning components with a mouse, much like PowerPoint® - graphics, well templates, maps & existing charts can simply be dropped onto the canvas, making a seamless join between interpretation and montaging. They can then be printed to wide-bed plotters for large-scale hard copies or to Adobe Acrobat for emailing.
Any chart or map component can be saved as a CGM, enhanced metafile (emf) bitmap (bmp)
Cut / paste montages directly into MS Office
-
Well charts and maps can be copied to the Windows clipboard and simply pasted directly into PowerPoint or any MS Office application as an enhanced metafile (emf) or bitmap (bmp).
-
With Adobe Acrobat, a correlation panel or a well can be printed as a PDF and emailed. The PDF can also be exported to a tiff file and inserted into PowerPoint for high-quality images and near-perfect platform independence.
ODM3 data reports and tabular data can also be copied to Excel and then moved to PowerPoint to manipulate data - maximum flexibility with minimum effort.
